Certification comes before mark use.
Only use the mark after independent approval, completion of onboarding and receipt of the authorised artwork and permission for your package. An application, fee receipt or sample plaque does not grant a licence.
Display it only for the company, brand and approved product scope stated in your agreement and current record. Do not extend it to other brands, unlisted products or a distributor’s entire range.
Use the supplied artwork and manual.
Use the official files supplied during onboarding. Follow their approved colours, minimum sizes, clear space and placement instructions; do not redraw, stretch, obscure or add claims to the mark.
Keep the mark legible on packaging, websites, social materials and point-of-sale displays. Ask the team to review an uncertain placement before printing. Production artwork is supplied to authorised participants rather than offered as an unrestricted public download.
Make the record easy to check.
Where your package provides a certificate or traceability QR, use the supplied destination and identify the relevant scope. Do not redirect it to a misleading page or use an outdated certificate image in place of a current record.
Certified+ traceability and story features must correspond to the approved products and information; they do not broaden statutory approvals or product guarantees.
Keep the permission current.
Notify the programme before adding products or changing formulations, ownership, manufacturing arrangements or facility location. Do not extend mark use until the change is reviewed and authorised.
When certification expires or is suspended or revoked, pause mark use as required by your agreement and contact the team about artwork, digital materials and existing stock. Renewing or fixing an issue does not restore permission until the applicable decision is recorded.
Code of conduct for participants.
Participation depends on accurate information and responsible use of the programme. These conduct principles accompany the scope-specific certification agreement.
- Provide genuine, current company and product evidence; do not alter documents or misrepresent an audit result.
- Cooperate with verification, audits and requested corrective action.
- Maintain applicable operating and product authorisations and notify the programme of relevant changes.
- Use the mark only within the authorised scope and term; never imply government, Halal, organic or medical approval from this mark.
- Respect consumer reports and provide the information needed to check or correct a record.
Raise a concern with evidence.
Report suspected unauthorised use or an inaccurate record with the brand, product, certificate number if known, and where the mark was seen. The team assesses the evidence; a report is not itself a public finding.
