Explore the certification process and eligibility guide, or check a certificate’s current status and scope.

A certificate is specific. It identifies a business or brand, the scope reviewed, its term and current status. Checking all four is more useful than recognising a logo alone.

Match the identity and scope

Search the public register by certificate number, brand, company or product. Compare the result with the product or listing in front of you.

Brand-only records identify the brand and business; they do not list individually approved products. Product and combined records cover their explicit product list. A new product is not automatically added to an existing certificate.

Read dates and status together

Active means the certificate is currently active within its recorded term. Expired means its expiry date has passed. Suspended means it is temporarily paused, while revoked means it has been withdrawn.

An image from an earlier year or a cached product listing may not reflect the current status. Use the live record and check its expiry date.

Raise a mismatch with evidence

A missing search result alone does not establish fraud. Check the spelling or try the certificate number. If the claim and record still do not match, report the concern with the brand, product, listing URL or location, date seen and the discrepancy.

The mark is a private certification within its scope. It is not a substitute for other approvals or an absolute product-safety guarantee. Read the mark guidelines.
