Trust begins with information people can check. A Malaysian brand can explain its roots and production clearly without asking a customer to treat every claim as proof.

A visible mark needs a current record

Malaysia Authentic is a private, paid certification programme. Screening is followed by a formal application, the non-refundable application fee, verification and facility audit. An independent committee reviews the audit findings. Approval and onboarding come before authorised mark assets and a certificate are issued.

The application fee funds the defined assessment work; it does not purchase a guaranteed approval. The annual package fee follows approval, with the agreement and onboarding.

Scope makes the claim useful

A record identifies the brand or company, its scope and any explicitly covered products. Brand-only certification does not list individually approved products or automatically certify every future SKU.

Match the record to the claim made on the packaging. Read its dates and current status rather than relying on an old image of a certificate.

Confidence without an unlimited guarantee

Private certification does not replace government permits, Halal or specialist approvals, customs documents or the business's responsibility for its products. It does not guarantee a retailer listing or a sales result.

Understand the Trust Mark, check a certification record, or start screening.
